Scaling Hammers

Trelawny Scaling Hammers, in several distinct versions, are ideal tools to compliment our Needle Scalers in more demanding applications for surface preparation and coating removal. Heavy duty versions, with special threaded tips and pistons have proven to be the choice for "fracturing" thicker, tough to remove materials. Three styles of cutter-heads including Beryllium Copper spark-resistant, are available.

Trelawny Scaling Hammers are designed for the de-scaling of steel work such as ships' decks and hulls, bridges and oil platforms for re-coating and are particularly effective for reaching difficult to access areas and vertical surfaces which would otherwise be problematic with larger machinery.
